Colorado

We made our way across Colorado.

On the west side of the Rockies, we ended up on a detour - this one lane dirt road.
It was gorgeous, but took us two hours to go 50 miles!

We wound through open ranges, and this group of horses walked right up to the car!

This herd of skiddish mule deer crossed our path several times.

We stopped for this amazing view of the mountains.
The photo doesn't do it justice.

We spent some time near a little mountain town called Ridgeway.
We passed this herd of bulls many times.

The Man.

The Riverwalk in Ridgeway.

Looks like a movie set. This is an old mining town called Silverton.
There's really just the one main street, but you have to take an extremely
scary mountain pass highway to get to it. Many of the buildings still have the actual store fronts.

Silverton City Hall. Built in 1908.

I love that picture of Damon. That's an awesome shot! I don't think i'd have the patience to go 50 miles in 2 hours. I'd probably just get out, walk back, and hitchhike. Which would probably take MORE time but at least I'd feel like I was getting somewhere. :)

Keep adding! I love this. :)
